HW 4 Grading Notes

1. Someone dared to turn in only the answers. The reader simply gave zero points for those
answers. The reader LOVES answers without steps, save the reader much time grading the HW.
Please give more answers with no steps, and just get zero point for everything.

2. if you skip part of the question and didn't give me any answers. The reader has to take off
points, and the lowest point the reader can take off is 0.5 point.

3. The last problem (#7), the answers from students were just too much a mess. The reader
could have taken off points from everyone, instead everyone just get a free point for any
attemp. No point for no solution. Look at the errata for how to solve the problem.

Please submit your regrade request in writing and put the HW to the HW drop box. So far there
were 3 successful regardes, and no unsuccessful regarde. But don't ask for a regrade just to
try your luck.
