This poem is about hurricanes, and the hurricanes were shaped into human forms. They act like human and have characters like human.

The context of this poem is longer than the other poems assigned, and the subject pf hurricane is well depicted with human characters. A hurricane has name, and it would go "north to be cool" (525). This is just like a man likes to be cool.

Hurricane also has emotions like human, they feel "angry", "worried", and "nervous" (524). This makes the image of hurricane more vivid and more like the image of a person. This is a good method of describing hurricane, becaues hurricane is not something we can obeserve everyday, so we cannot tell how hurricane looks like exactly. If hurricane takes on a human form, it is much easier for readers to imagine a hurricane.

The poem is all images. The personified Hurricanes is just like doll playing among children. It is intersting to give an hurricanes names. Because by giving hurricane names, we can consider hurricanes in terms of human actions.

I can imagine who hurricane can draw stokes like Van Gogh (522).
